Our Rich Roots

Our Rich Roots

From a humble beginning at a ration dept in the colorful city of Lahore to the glorious achievements of today, our story is as old and rich as Pakistan's itself

It all began in 1948, when Haji Sheikh Muhammad Alam (late) began his business in Mozang, Lahore. Providing the people of the area with quality food items, such as sugar and flour for twenty years, he earned their lasting trust. With a vision that went with that trust and admiration, Sheikh Muhammad Alam began a small flour mill, The Aslam Flour Mills in 1968 at Gujranwala. From here on, it was a resolve to achieve perfection, Joined by his sons, including Mr. Maqsood Ahmed, the dedicated entrepreneur established in 1974, one of the most advanced flour mills at the time, the Eatmad Flour and General Mills. After that, they inaugurated the Alam Roller Flour Mills in 1978 and the Maqsood Flour and General Mills in 1988. The family set off what has today become one of the largest and longest-running businesses in the country. Driven by family values of honesty, straightforward business ethics, strong-determination with a core philosophy to build long-lasting customer relations. We are committed to providing the best quality flour to Pakistan and the world.
